#9 Men's Lacrosse Blanks Eastern 13-0

RADNOR, Pa. (March 12) – For the second straight game, junior Scott Reimer led the team in scoring as the Cavaliers shut-out PAC foe Eastern University this afternoon 13-0.  The Cavaliers remain undefeated with a 3-0 mark, a 1-0 record in the conference while the Eagles drop to 0-5, 0-1 in the league. 
 
Reimer scored four goals and added one assist for a team-best five points.  Senior Matt McKinney and sophomores Casey Grugan and Rich Romanelli each added two goals.  Junior B.J. Kletcheck recorded one goal and assisted on two scores.
 
The Cavaliers outshot Eastern 45-13 and recorded 29 shots on goal.  Cabrini earned 13 of the 16 face-offs and registered 37 ground balls. 
 
Juniors Kevin Fahey and Mike Dolente and sophomore Steve Heaps all recorded five ground balls and three players forced two turnovers a piece. 
 
Junior Kevin Chenoweth stopped 10 shots in the net for the Cavaliers.  Junior Zach Rivest made 16 saves for the Eagles. 
 
The Cavaliers scored a game-best five goals in the third period.
 
Cabrini faces Hampden-Sydney on Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m.
