RADNOR, Pa. - Junior Sabina DeGisi scored her first goal of the 2008 season in Cabrini's 4-1 loss against Dickinson College Saturday in the women's championship game of the Cabrini College Soccer Festival at Edith Robb Dixon Field. The Red Devils broke a 1-1 halftime tie with three scores in the second half en route to the win.

After Dickinson's Dana Conroy opened the scoring in the 27th minute, Cabrini evened the contest at one goal apiece following DeGisi's tally. The junior forward attacked the left box and shifted middle before her shot attempt deflected off a Red Devil defender and found the back of the net.

Dickinson ended a 30-plus minute scoring stalemate with a goal from Rachel Henry at the 59:00 mark. The Red Devils added two insurance markers from Genevieve Olson at the 72:38 mark and Sarah Casey with 11 minutes remaining.

DeGisi registered a team-best five shots and freshman Kara Hinkelmon collected three.

Sophomore goalkeeper Gianna Porretta tallied seven saves in the setback. Red Devil netminder Kailyn Hartmann also collected seven stops.

Dickinson won the corner kick battle, totaling 14 to five from Cabrini.
