RADNOR, Pa. - The Cabrini men and women's swimming programs returned to the water Saturday afternoon in tri-meet action at the Dixon Center Pool. The Cavalier men topped both Lebanon Valley College and Marywood University, while the women's squad split, knocking off the Pacers.
The Cabrini men posted a 48-47 win against Lebanon Valley and bested Marywood, 58-37. The Blue & White women earned a 64-31 victory versus the Pacers.
The Cavalier men notched six first-place finishes, led by senior Kyle Teliszewski's two victories in the 100yd freestyle (51.26) and 500yd freestyle (5:17.51).
Seniors Bill Boylan (23.15) and Matthew McGuriman (2:11.25) listed first in the 50yd freestyle and 200yd individual medley, respectively. Freshman Rocco Del Monte IV placed first in the 200yd freestyle, clocking a time of 1:56.83.
Boylan, McGuriman, Teliszewski and freshman James Gallagher touched first in the 200yd freestyle relay, finishing in 1:32.89.
Junior Lauren Sliva guided the women's efforts, placing first in the 100yd butterfly with a time of 1:07.83. Sliva teamed with freshman Elyse Phillips, freshman Breaghann Smith and senior Emily Yurick for a first-place performance in the 200yd freestyle (1:51.74).
The Cabrini men and women's swimming teams returned to the road at Bryn Mawr College on Wednesday, Dec. 1. Arcadia University will also compete.
