Women's Lacrosse Stumbles at Dickinson College

CARLISLE, Pa. -
The Cabrini women's lacrosse team opened the road portion of its 2011 regular season schedule on Friday afternoon at Centennial Conference opponent Dickinson College. The Red Devils scored nine unanswered goals to open the contest en route to an 18-3 victory versus the Cavaliers.

Sophomore attack Christina Pasquariello led the Cabrini efforts, totaling two points with two goals. Senior attack Jamie O'Hanlon netted one goal in the loss.

Senior defender Courtney Davis scooped a team-high four groundballs. Senior midfielder Dolores Weather gathered two draw controls.

Dickinson (3-3) jumped out to a 9-0 advantage off the opening draw and owned a 13-2 advantage at the intermission. The Red Devils led by as much as 15 goals, 17-2, with 13:30 remaining in the second half.

Clare Manoli led the Dickinson offense with five points on four goals and one assist. Lindsay Edgerley recorded four points, scoring two goals and handing out two helpers.

Jessie Clark made six saves for the Red Devils in the victory. Freshman goalkeeper Janel Folkomer notched eight stops for the Blue & White in the loss.

Cabrini (0-2) plays its third straight Centennial Conference opponent at Ursinus College on Tuesday, March 15. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
