SCRANTON, Pa. – The Cabrini College women's lacrosse team suffered its second consecutive loss today, 16-5 at Marywood University in Scranton, Pa. The Cavaliers record falls to 1-2 with the loss.
The Pacers put Cabrini in an early hole as they scored almost immediately after the opening whistle. Marywood posted its first goal just 17 seconds into the game. Two minutes later, Marywood extended its lead to 2-0 with a goal at the 27:39 mark.
The Blue and White found the net 10 minutes into action as junior
Christina Pasquariello converted a free position shot. The Cavaliers evened the score responded 30 seconds later when freshman Sara Carzo scored her second goal of the season.
The Pacers began to take over the game at the 19:10 mark, when they began a run of 11 consecutive goals, taking a 13-3 lead into the halftime break.
Marywood posted another just two minutes into the second half.

Lacie Doubet ended The Pacers' scoring run with her third goals of the season with 18:38 to play.
Junior
Shaela Allen closed the Cavaliers' scoring with her first two Cabrini goals at the 16:16 and 10:43 marks.
Marywood's Taylor McKeown led the Pacers (5-1, 2-0 CSAC) with five goals on the day. Diana D'Achille and Sarah Caughy also posted four points each for Marywood.
The Cavaliers will try to snap their current skid on Monday when they travel to Immaculata University. The action is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
