RADNOR, Pa. –
The Cabrini College women's lacrosse team returned to the win column and seemed to get its offense in order in today's 17-0 win over Rosemont College at Edith Robb Dixon Field.  The Cavaliers improved to 3-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference and 3-4 overall.

Freshman Lacie Doubet led a balanced Cavalier attack with five goals.  Junior Christina Pasquariello also recorded five
points on three goals and two assists.

Sophomore Kellie Manoppello opened Cabrini's scoring when Pasquariello found her just over two minutes into the game.  Less than one minute later, Doubet tallied her first of the day.  At the 23:23 mark, Doubet found the back of the net again, after converting a Manoppello pass.

Freshman Melissa Scanzano found Pasquariello with 21:56 to play to give Cabrini a 4-0 lead.  Thirty-five seconds later, Manoppello scored her second goal of the day and sixth of the season.

The Cavaliers scored their next goal even faster. Sophomore Brianna Thompson found freshman Sara Carzo who found the net just 12 seconds after Manoppello's goal.

Thompson converted a free position shot midway through the half before sophomore Sarah Means and Doubet added to the scoring 17 minutes into play.  Pasquariello posted her second tally just north of one minute before Doubet closed her scoring for the day.

Sophomore Stephanie Toomey's goal with 8:05 to play in the first half gave the Cavaliers a 13-0 lead, which they took into the half.

Senior Caroline Vaughn scored her second career goal at the 25:20 mark of the second half.  Tommey completed her first multi-goal game with a second tally eight minutes into the second stanza.  Freshman Taylor Carroll also scored her first collegiate goal in the second half.  Pasquariello completed her hat trick late in the game.

Sophomore Beatrice McQuiston led the Blue and White with five groundballs, while Manoppello added five.  Doubet and sophomore Suzanne Gennaro also controlled three draws each.

The victory also marked the first career shutout for Cabrini's sophomore goaltender Janel Folkomer.

The Cavaliers will play their next five games on the road, beginning with a trip to Alvernia University on Thursday.  The game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
