RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini women's soccer team extended its win streak to six matches and, in the process, took sole possession of first place in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with tonight's 2-1 win at Gwynedd Mercy University.
With the victory, the Cavaliers improve to 8-6 overall and a perfect 7-0 in the conference.

Devon Miller with a through ball that Miller converted into her team leading seventh goal of the season.
Cabrini had a chance to extend its lead just 40 seconds later but failed to convert a penalty kick.
The Griffins evened the score in the 35th minute when Ariety Fellenz capitalized on a loose ball inside the Cabrini penalty area.
The scoreboard remained level until the Blue and White took advantage of a Gwynedd Mercy penalty in the 61st minute. Freshman

Dana Peterson, who redirected the ball into the net for her sixth tally of the season.
The Cabrini defense made the one goal difference stand as the Cavaliers held Gwynedd Mercy to just one corner kick and one shot in the final 29 minute of action.
The Blue and White fired 11 shots on the night, including 10 on goal. Miller and Hrapmann joined junior

Alivia Dietsch recorded one save to earn the victory, anchoring a defense that surrendered just five Griffins' shots and three corner kicks.
Jess Tadley posted seven saves for Gwynedd Mercy (8-5, 6-1 CSAC).
Cabrini continues its road swing on Saturday, as it visits Baptist Bible College (3-10, 2-5 CSAC). Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Clarks Summit, Pa.
