ASTON, Pa. – The Cabrini men's soccer team fell to 5-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference tonight, and 9-6 overall, as the Cavaliers dropped a 2-0 decision at Neumann University.
The Cavaliers mustered just five shots on the night, with two coming on goal. Freshman
Quinn Ackerman attempted a team high two shots.
After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, the Knights got on the board in the 56th minute. Neumann added its second tally in the 71st minute of action.
The Blue and White could not put find its offensive touch, as it recorded just one shot and two corner kicks in the second half.
Sophomore goaltender
C.J. Serratore recorded four saves in the loss.
Cabrini will look to regroup, as it steps out of league play on Wednesday when it welcomes Berkeley College (5-9) to Edith Robb Dixon Field. The nonconference action is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
