SCRANTON, Pa. – The Cabrini volleyball team extended its win streak to 10 consecutive matches tonight, as the Cavaliers scored a 3-0 win at Marywood University.
With the victory, the Blue and White remained perfect in the Colonial States Athletic Conference at 7-0 while moving to 16-5 overall.
Freshmen
Chelsea Jones and
Anne-Marie Jones led the Cavaliers offense in the 33-31, 25-18, 25-22 triumph. The duo shared team high honors with 10 kills, while
Anne-Marie Jones added seven digs.
Sophomore
Nicole Sokolovich paired eight kills and 13 digs, while junior
Cassidy Koenig recorded 19 assists to go with eight digs. Senior
Amy Guarino added 16 assists, as sophomore
Kelly Guarino tallied a match high 19 digs.
Junior
Christine Ingargiola posted two solo blocks and two block assists in the win.
The Cavaliers will travel to Wilkes University on Saturday, where it will face the host Colonels (9-11, 2-3 MAC Freedom) at 10 a.m. and William Paterson (16-5, 2-4 NJAC) at 12 Noon.
