ANNVILLE, Pa. - Despite several event wins and impressive personal performances, the Cabrini men's and women's swim teams fell short at Lebanon Valley, as the men fell 119-86, while the women's team stumbled 103-102.
Senior
Morgan Griffith and sophomore
Christina Melchiorre combined for four first place finishes. Griffith posted victories in the 100 meter backstroke and 50 meter freestyle, while Melchiorre won the 400 and 800 meter freestyles.

Casey Merrill and freshman
Brooke Hagan in the 200 meter freestyle relay, where they finished in first place with a time of 1:57.79.
Merrill competed in the 200 meter individual medley and finished first with a time of 2:43. 76. Hagan placed second in the 200 and 400 meter freestyles.
Sophomore swimmer
Todd Walker led the Blue and White men with two first place finishes. Walker won the 100 meter backstroke with a time of 1:03.51, while also finishing first in the 200 meter freestyle in 2:06.24.
Freshman
Matt McDonald ended his night with a first place finish in the 400 meter freestyle in 4:41.65, while also finishing second in the 800 meter freestyle.
Sophomore
Hassan David Goines Jr. joined Walker and McDonald in the win column with a first place finish in the 100 meter freestyle. The sophomore also placed second in the 200 meter individual medley.
The Cavaliers are back in action Sunday when they travel to Scranton, Pa. to take on the Marywood University Pacers. The meet is scheduled to get started at 1 p.m.
