BRYN MAWR, Pa. – It was a big night for the women's swimming team as they scored a 104-101 victory at Bryn Mawr College.

Senior Morgan Griffith led Cabrini with three wins.  The senior recorded a time of 1:06.72 to win the 100 yard backstroke.  Her time of 1:11.86 was good for a victory in the 100 yard breaststroke, while her time of 25.87 secured a victory in the 50 yard freestyle.

Sophomore Christina Melchiorre posted wins in the 200 and 500 yard freestyles, reaching the wall In 2:06.90 and 5:41.17, respectively.

Freshman Casey Merrill scored second place finishes in the 100 yard butterfly and was right behind Melchiorre with a time of 2:10.77 in the 200 yard freestyle.

Melchiorre, Merrill and freshmen Stefanie Barkofski and Brooke Hagan capped the win with a first place finish In the 200 yard freestyle relay. The team finished with a time of 1:49.65.

The Cavaliers are back in action Saturday when they host Penn State-Altoona at the Dixon Pool. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
