RADNOR, Pa. – Fifteen Cavaliers saw between six and 18 minutes of action, as the Cabrini women's basketball team extended its win streak to four with a dominant 74-28 win over the visiting Cedar Crest Falcons tonight at Nerney Field House.
The victory improves the Blue and White to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
All 15 players notched the scoring or rebound columns, led by senior
Amber Keys, who recorded her fourth double double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Sophomore
Meghan Barth notched a career high nine points, while fellow sophomore
Renee Oliver and freshman
Sarah Monaghan scored eight points each. Senior Meghan Decker paired six points and six rebounds, while freshman
Kate Skalski added six points.
The Blue and White scored the game's first nine points and never looked back.
Cabrini shot nearly 49% from the floor and forced 22 Cedar Crest turnovers in the first half, as it built a 26-28 halftime lead.
For the game, the Blue and White held the Falcons to just nine made field goals and forced 33 turnovers. The Cavaliers also owned a 49-25 rebound advantage and a 34-8 advantage in points in the paint.
DeJanet Lantion led Cedar Crest (1-7, 0-2 CSAC) with 12 points, while Breonna Lewis added six points.
The Cavaliers will return to action on Dec. 17 when they travel to the University of Scranton for the Poinsettia Classic where they will face Richard Stockton College (3-2). Game time is slated for 3 p.m.
