RADNOR, Pa. – It was another great day for the Cabrini men's and women's swim teams as they came away with victories over Penn State-Altoona today at the Dixon Center Pool. The men's team pulled out a 111-54 victory, while the women's team won 114-75.
Sophomore
Todd Walker earned a win in the 200 yard backstroke in 2:04.88 and placed first in the 200 yard freestyle in 1:53.23.

Nicholas Vivian and
Rich Giuliani scored a win in the 400 yard medley. The team earned a time of 3:51.54.
Goines finished first in the 500 yard freestyle in 5:23.92, while also placing second behind Walker in the 200 yard freestyle.

Sean Tallon scored wins in the 200 yard individual medley and 1,000 yard freestyle in 2:16.39 and 11:42.69, respectively.
Giuliani won the 100 yard freestyle in 51.46 and earned a second place finish in the 50 yard freestyle in 23:32.

Christina Melchiorre and
Moira Prior got the Cavaliers' women off to a fast start, winning the 400 yard medley relay, reaching the wall in 4:30.44.
Melchiorre and Merrill combined for four first place finishes to lead their team to victory. Melchiorre scored wins in the 50 yard freestyle and 200 yard backstroke in 26.48 and 2:28.66, respectively. Merrill posted wins in the 200 yard individual medley in 2:27.96 and the 500 yard freestyle in 5:48.26.
Griffith earned a win in the 100 yard freestyle and finished in 57:33. Freshman
Brooke Hagan added a win in the 1,000 yard freestyle, completing the race in 12:28.86. The freshman also placed second in the 500 yard freestyle in 6:05.15.

Allie Stein notched second place finishes in the 50 and 1,000 yard freestyles, respectively. Junior
Meagan Kalinoski finished fourth in the 200 yard individual medley.
The Cavaliers have some time off and won't be back in action until January 10, when they travel to Widener University. The meet is scheduled for 1 p.m.
