RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini women's lacrosse team closed its regular season tonight with a visit from the No. 4 ranked TCNJ Lions.  The Cavaliers suffered a 19-5 loss, falling to 11-5 on the season.

Tonight also marked the final regular season game at Edith Robb Dixon Field for the Blue and White's senior class, Janel Folkomer, Suz Gennaro, Samantha LaMaina, Ali May, Erin McLaughlin and Beatrice McQuiston.  The ladies have recorded 39 career victories, including a 29-3 record in CSAC play, and raised the 2012 and 2013 CSAC Championships trophies.

Freshmen Jessica Breuning and Allie Vallen accounted for all of the Cavaliers' scoring.  Breuning recorded a career high three goals, while Vallen matched a career best with two goals.  Junior Lacie Doubet also added an assist in the loss.

Breuning also led the club with three draw controls, while McLaughlin earned team high honors with four ground balls.  McLaughlin and junior Megan Decker also caused two turnovers each.

TCNJ jumped on the board first with a goal 68 seconds into the game.  Cabrini responded immediately, as Breuning controlled the ensuing draw and headed for the goal, evening the score 15 seconds later.  The Lions regained the lead, scoring a pair of goals over the next minute of action.

The lead remained 3-1 until Vallen scored at the 20:42 mark.  The Lions responded with three unanswered goals, building a 6-2 lead with 18:23 left in the half.  Breuning's woman-down goal and Vallen's second cut the deficit to 6-4 but Cabrini would get no closer.  TCNJ posted the next 10 goals spanning the two halves, as its advantage grew to 16-4.

By virtue of its 8-0 CSAC record, the Cavaliers earned a bye into Wednesday's CSAC semifinal round.  It will host the lowest remaining seed after Saturday's first round games.  Stay tuned to CabriniAthletics.com for the latest CSAC tournament information.
