RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini women's soccer team outshot Rutgers-Camden 21-11 but couldn't take advantage of its opportunities, as the Cavaliers fell to the Raptors 1-0 tonight at Edith Robb Dixon Field. The nonconference loss dropped the Blue and White to 2-6 on the season.

Kaitlyn Cooper and freshman
Lisette Hrapmann fired four shots each to lead the Cavaliers. Both also hit the post during a barrage of shot fired by the Blue and White in the opening minutes of the second half. Juniors

Devon Miller also took three shots on the night.
Fifteen of Cabrini's shots came in the decisive second half, with 12 coming in the opening 12 minutes of the period. The Raptors attempted just six shots after the break, just two on target. One of the two found the back of the net, as Rutgers-Camden's Rebecca Gougher scored the night's lone tally in the 67th minute.
Freshman goaltender
Alivia Dietsch recorded three saves for the Cavaliers, including a thwarted breakaway attempt in the 88th minute.
The Blue and White will return to Colonial States Athletic Conference play on Saturday, as it welcomes Rosemont College (4-2-2, 2-0 CSAC) to Edith Robb Dixon Field. The match marks a replay of the 2013 CSAC championship game, one the Cavaliers won 4-3. The action gets underway at 1:30 p.m. as the third of five athletic events on Homecoming 2014.
