GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Cabrini volleyball team opened its conference schedule with a 3-0 win at Gwynedd Mercy tonight. The Cavaliers improved to 10-5 overall and extended its Colonial States Athletic Conference win streak to 16 consecutive matches.
The Blue and White boasted a balanced attack in their 25-16, 25-15, 25-11 victory. Four Cavaliers recorded at least four kills, led by sophomore
Nicole Sokolovich who tallied a season high 10 kills. Senior
Amy Guarino totaled nine kills, while freshman
Anne-Marie Jones added seven.
Junior
Cassidy Koenig directed the attack in the first two sets, recording 20 assists. Guarino took over as primary setter in the final set, recording nine assists.
Sophomore
Kelly Guarino tallied a team high 11 digs, while freshman
Jessica DiProspero added a season high nine digs, three more than Sokolovich.
Cabrini also recorded 13 service aces in the win.

The Blue and White will return to its home court on Saturday, as it opens Cabrini's day long Homecoming athletic schedule. The Cavaliers will welcome Baptist Bible College (3-13, 0-0 CSAC) to Nerney Field House at 11:00 a.m.
