RADNOR, Pa. – The men's and women's swimming teams fell to Ursinus today at the Dixon Center Pool. The men dropped 125-68, while the women stumbled 115-81.
The men were led by sophomore
Todd Walker and freshman
Brian Jordan. Walker won the 100 yard butterfly and posted a time of 56.71, while Jordan took home the win in the 100 yard breaststroke with a final time of 1:12. 17.
Freshman
Rich Giuliani and sophomore
Hassan David Goines Jr. combined for three second place finishes.
Giuliani placed second in the 100 yard backstroke and 50 yard freestyle in 58.03 and 23.57, respectively. Goines scored a second place finish in the 200 yard individual medley, reaching the wall in 2:07.89.

Ryan Hagan captured the win in the 200 yard freestyle relay to help the Cavaliers finish on a high note. The team completed the race in 1:32.91.
Sophomores
Moira Prior and
Christina Melchiorre led the women's team with a pair of wins. Prior placed first in the 100 yard breaststroke in 1:25.35, while Melchiorre won the 100 yard freestyle in 56.82.
Melchiorre added a second place finish in the 50 yard freestyle, reaching the wall in 25.77, narrowly missing Andrea Carabello's record of 25.23.
Freshman
Stefanie Barkofski added a second place finish in the 500 yard freestyle, completing the race in 6:10.21.

Morgan Griffith teamed up with freshmen
Brooke Hagan and
Casey Merrill to capture a win in the 200 yard freestyle relay in 1:49.80.
The Blue and White will travel to Swarthmore, Pa. next Saturday to take on Swarthmore College at 2 p.m.
