RADNOR, Pa. – It was a successful day for the Cabrini swim teams, as both came away with victories over Ocean County College to close out the regular season today. The men's team topped the Vikings 100-72, while the women's team won 88-59.
Today's meet marked the final home appearance for four Cabrini seniors,
Morgan Griffith,
Scott Hunt,
Cody Kunze and
Megan Tustin. Each has been an integral part of the Blue and White's growth and improvement over the last several years.
Sophomore
Todd Walker led the men's team with a record setting performance in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:06.59, topping Rocco Del Monte's previous school record of 2:09.17. Walker also came away with a victory in the 500 yard freestyle in 5:12.92.
Sophomore
Hassan David Goines Jr. scored a win in the 100 yard backstroke in 58.39, and also earned a victory in the 50 yard freestyle in 23.31.
Freshman
Rich Giuliani earned a first place finish in the 100 yard freestyle, reaching the wall in 51.21 and placed second in the 50 yard freestyle in 23.45.

Andrew Michael Stasis teamed up in the 200 yard medley relay and came away with the win in 1:45.26.
Junior
Christopher Ryan and Freshman
Brian Jordan combined for a pair of wins. Ryan finished first in the 200 yard individual medley in 2:18.10, while Jordan placed first in the 100 yard breaststroke in 1:08.54.
Sophomore
Christina Melchiorre and Griffith tied for a first place finish in the 50 yard freestyle, as both swimmers reached the wall in 25.84. Griffith finished with an impressive time in the 100 yard breaststroke, finishing in 1:11.54.
Freshman
Brooke Hagan finished with a pair of individual victories. The rookie came in first place in the 100 yard freestyle in 1:02.59 and the 1000 yard freestyle in 12:13.92.
Freshmen
Casey Merrill and
Stefanie Barkofski combined for a pair of wins. Merrill earned a win in the 200 yard individual medley, as she reached the wall 2:29.41, while Barkofski scored a win in the 200 yard freestyle in 2:14.63.
Tustin, Melchiorre, Merrill and Griffith competed in the 200 yard medley relay and with a strong effort from Tustin on the last leg of the race the Blue and White was able to capture the victory, as the senior reached the wall in 2:11.51.
The Cavaliers will close their 2014-15 at the AMCC Championships on February 12-14. The three day championship event will take place at Grove City College in Grove City, Pa.
