BALTIMORE, Md. – Cabrini extended its Colonial States Athletic Conference unbeaten streak to 28 matches with today's 3-0 victory at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
The win improves the Cavaliers to 7-5-2 overall and 7-0-1 in league play.
The win also sets up Saturday's big match, as Gwynedd Mercy (10-3-2, 8-1 CSAC) pays a visit to Edith Robb Dixon Field at 2:30 p.m. with first place in the CSAC standings on the line.
The Blue and White didn't waste much time building a lead today, as sophomore
Lisette Hrapmann found senior
Devon Miller in the 15th minute.
Despite a 9-2advantage in first half shots, the Cavaliers mustered just one goal in the opening half.
Cabrini struck again in the 52nd minute, as Hrapmann notched her second assist of the day when her pass found senior
Kaitlyn Cooper in the middle of the penalty area.
The Cavaliers sealed the win in the 67th minute when Miller's cross deflected of the goalkeeper's hands for the senior's second goal of the match.
The Blue and White built a 15-7 advantage in shots, including an 11-3 cushion in shots on goal. Senior

Brittany Runyen led the way with three shots each.

Alivia Dietsch recorded three saves to earn her third shutout of the season.
