LA PLUME, Pa. – The Cabrini men's soccer team saw its 11 match unbeaten streak come to an end today, as the Cavaliers suffered a 3-2 loss at Keystone College in their regular season finale.
The loss closes the Cavaliers' regular season with an overall record of 13-2-3 and 7-1-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
The Giants took an early lead as Eddy Enowbi scored the first of his two goals on the day in the 14th minute. Keystone carried its 1-0 lead until the 54th minute, when sophomore
Ben Roda collected a loose ball at the back post and shot from six yards, scoring his third goal of the year.
Keystone regained the lead just over two minutes later on Enowbi's second tally of the afternoon. The Giants extended their lead in the 71st minute, playing a long ball over the Blue and White defense to Ofentse Kale.
The Cavaliers fought back, pulling within 3-2 in the 87th minute, as junior
Drew Vernon was on the scoring end of a set piece from
A.J. Bishop and freshman
Sal Zampirri.
Cabrini continued to push for the tying goal in the final minutes of the match, recording four shots in the final minute, including a Bishop header that forced Keystone goaltender Adam Zbiciak to make the final of his seven saves on the day.

Jared Irwin and
Matt Ochman notched two shots each.
Junior goaltender
C.J. Serratore recorded nine saves in the loss.
By virtue of its 7-1-1 league record, the Cavaliers have earned a bye into the semifinal round of next week's CSAC Tournament. As the top seed, the Blue and White will host a semifinal match on Thursday. The time and opponent are yet to be determined.
