RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini men's soccer team saved one of its best offensive performances of the season for tonight's Colonial States Athletic Conference semifinal, as the Cavaliers scored a 7-1 victory over Keystone.

With tonight's victory, Cabrini reserved its spot in Saturday's CSAC championship match, the club's first title appearance since 2012.  The Blue and White will host Marywood (8-7-3) in the final, after the Pacers topped Neumann 2-1 in double overtime tonight. Saturday's game time has not yet been announced.

The Blue and White improved to 14-2-3 on the season and avenged its only conference loss of the season, a 3-2 loss at Keystone on Halloween.

The Cavaliers wasted no time in taking control of the match, scoring three goals in the opening 16 minutes of play. Junior A.J. Bishop put Cabrini on the board just 95 into the match as he converted a cross from classmate Bobby Kane.

Fellow junior Mo Konneh extended the lead with an unassisted tally in the eight minute, while Bishop found Kane for the first of his two goals on the day in the 16th minute.

The lead remained 3-0 until the 45th minute, when freshman Lucas Lampertti scored his second career goal off an assist from fellow rookie Nick Hood.  

While Keystone held a slim 10-9 advantage in shots and the teams evenly split eight first half corner kicks, the Cavaliers carried a comfortable 4-0 lead into the halftime break.

Keystone marked the scorebook in the opening 65 seconds of the second period, as junior Haris Sabovic connected with freshman Kouassi Kouadio.

The Cavaliers regained their scoring touch in the 63rd minute, as freshman Matt Ochman recorded his first career point on an assist on Kane's second tally of the night.  Junior Drew Vernon notched his second goal of the campaign, both against Keystone, in the 78th minute.

Sophomore Fernando Sommo put an exclamation point on the semifinal victory, converting a penalty kick in the 87th minute for his first goal of the year.

Despite a comfortable lead, Cabrini kept its defensive pressure in the second half, holding the Giants to just four shots after the break, with none on target.  Junior goaltender C.J. Serratore earned the victory with eight saves, all in the opening 45 minutes.

Kane recorded seven of Cabrini's 17 shots in the victory, while Bishop tallied three.

Sophomore Eddy Enowbi attempted five shots for Keystone (8-9-1).
