WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Cabrini swim teams made the journey to Wilkes-Barre, Pa. today to compete in a tri-meet against Kings and Cedar Crest. The women's team earned a 128-66 win over the Falcons but fell 123-76 to the Monarchs, while the Blue and White men scored a 104-92 victory over Kings.
Juniors

Hassan David Goines Jr. joined sophomore
Nicholas Vivian and freshman
Serrano Brown in placing first in the 200 yard medley relay in 1:45.96.
Walker led the men's team with a pair of first place finishes, as the junior scored wins in the 200 yard freestyle in 1:52.01 and 200 yard backstroke in 2:04.07.
Goines finished first in the 200 yard individual medley in 2:10.06 and also added a second place finish in the 200 yard breaststroke, reaching the wall in 2:27.87.
In the 200 yard butterfly, freshman
Ryan Brong placed first with a time of 2:22.11.
Senior
Sean Tallon added second place finishes in the 1,000 yard freestyle and 500 yard freestyle, reaching the wall in 11:32.86 and 5:32.28, respectively.
On the women's side, junior
Christina Melchiorre notched a pair of wins. The junior earned wins in the 50 yard freestyle in 26:24 and100 yard freestyle in 58.00.

Candace Brown and
Casey Merrill scored a second place finish in the 200 yard medley relay in 2:04.53.
Merrill and Brown ended their day with second place finishes in the 500 yard freestyle and 200 yard backstroke in 5:52.42 and 2:31.19, respectively.
Sophomore
Brooke Hagan earned a second place finish in the 200 yard butterfly in 2:48.39 and also placed third in the 200 yard freestyle in 2:17.45.
Freshman
Marissa Loro and junior
Allie Stein placed second and third in the 1,000 yard freestyle, reaching the wall in 12:23.29 and 12:56.21.
The Cavalier swim teams will host Lebanon Valley on Saturday for a meet at 11 a.m.
