RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini women's soccer team will make its 13th appearance in the Colonial States Athletic Conference championship on Saturday after topping Rosemont College 2-0 tonight in a CSAC Tournament semifinal match at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
Cavaliers improved to 10-5-3 on the year and extended their current unbeaten streak to 10 matches.
Cabrini, the tournament's top seed, will host number two seed Gwynedd Mercy in Saturday's title match, as the Cavaliers look to earn their fifth consecutive league crown. The Griffins scored a 5-1 victory over Marywood University in tonight's other semifinal match.
The Blue and White opened the scoring in the 28th minute, when senior

Dana Peterson for her sixth goal of the campaign.

The Cavaliers extended their lead in the 71st minute, as junior
Allie Vallen turned the corner on the base line and found sophomore
Brittany Runyen in the six yard box.

Sophomore
Alivia Dietsch stopped all three attempts on target to notch her fourth shutout of the season.
Martin and Peterson each accounted for three of Cabrini's 12 shots in the win, with classmate
Kaitlyn Cooper and sophomore
Lisette Hrapmann adding two apiece.
