RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini volleyball team will make its eighth consecutive appearance in the Colonial States Athletic Conference championship match on Saturday after tonight's 3-0 victory over Immaculata University.
The 25-21, 2-13, 25-22 CSAC Tournament semifinal victory improved the Cavaliers to 24-9 on the year and set up a familiar championship tilt.
For the fifth straight year and sixth time in the last eight seasons, Cabrini will face Neumann University (16-19) in the league championship match. The Knights advanced to Saturday's final with tonight's 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-17) victory over Keystone.

Cassidy Koenig directed the offense with 36 assists to go with her nine digs.

The Blue and White were strong at the net tonight, posting eight total blocks. Ingargiola led the way with a career high six total blocks, while Grenauer tallied three.
Cabrini built an early lead in the opening set and extended its cushion to 19-10 before the Mighty Macs rallied. Immaculata notched six consecutive points, eventually pulling to within 23-21 before Cabrini closed the door.
The Blue and White took the floor for the second set ready to play, winning the first five points en route to a 12-4 lead. Immaculata never found its rhythm as Cabrini continued to extend its lead to build a two sets to none lead.
After watching the Mighty Macs take an early lead, the Cavaliers fought back to build a seemingly comfortable 19-13 lead, but like the opening set, Immaculata had an answer. The Mighty Macs fought back, slicing its deficit to 21-20. Two consecutive points gave Cabrini cushion it needed, as the team alternated points to close the match.
Freshman Morgan Wentz led the Mighty Macs (14-8) with six kills, while junior Maranda Jones notched 17 assists. Junior Molly Truitt added 17 digs in the loss.
