ELKTON, Md. – The Cabrini golf team showed little rust after nearly a month away from competition, as the Cavaliers finished third out of 11 teams at today's Revolutionary Collegiate Golf Classic at Patriots Glen National Golf Club in Elkton, Md.
The Blue and White recorded a team score of 332, finishing 14 strokes behind team winner Penn State-Harrisburg.
Originally scheduled as a two-day, 36 hole event, course conditions forced the change to just 18 holes.
Sophomore
Michael Rojas led the Cavaliers on the par 72, 6,730 yard circuit, carding a round of +8, 80, good for a sixth place tie out of 61 golfers. Fellow sophomore
Dan Gentilucci tied for 10th place with an 82.

Joe Myers finished two strokes behind Gentilucci with an 84 to finish tied for 18th. Senior
Tommy Breslin placed 29th with a round of 29, while senior
Ted Nebiolo and sophomore
Matt Vernot tied for 46th.
Penn State-Harrisburg took the team title with a round of 318, six strokes head of Marywood. The Pacers' Jesse Bingman topped Eastern's Ryan Torresin by three strokes, as his round of +1, 73 took the individual crown.
Cabrini will return to the links on Wednesday, as the Cavaliers compete in the Swarthmore College Invitational. Tee time is slated for 1:15 p.m. at the Springhaven Club in Wallingford, Pa.
