ASTON, Pa. – Five Cavaliers scored multiple points, as the Cabrini women's lacrosse team extended its win streak to five games with tonight's 14-4 win at Neumann University.
With the victory, the Blue and White improved to 5-4 overall, while its 25th consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference victory improved the club to 3-0 in league play.
Seniors
Lacie Doubet and
Melissa Scanzano paced the Cavaliers with a combined 10 points. Doubet paired four goals and an assist, while Scanzano added a goal and a career high four assists.
Sophomore
Katie Lasater added a season high four goals, while sophomore
Jess Breuning tallied two goals.
Doubet accounted for 10 of Cabrini's 28 shots in the win, while Breuning, Lasater and Scanzano tallied four each. Senior
Bree Thompson controlled four draws to go with her goal and assist, while sophomore
Jenn Robinson caused a pair of turnovers.

Megan Barlow recorded nine saves and a game high seven ground balls to earn the victory.
The Cavaliers were in game mode from the minute they stepped off the bus, as it look just 61 seconds for the Blue and White to take control of the game. That is when Doubet netted her first goal of the day. Just 32 seconds later, Thompson found Doubet for another goal.
Doubet completed her hat trick less than three minutes into the game, as she converted a Scanzano pass into her 24th goal of the season. Neumann opened its scoring at the 21:55 mark, but 42 seconds later, Lasater recorded an unassisted tally.
Following another Knights' tally, Cabrini extended its cushion with four goals in less than two minutes. Breuning and Lasater alternated goals, with Scanzano recording assists on the last two, to put the Cavaliers ahead 8-2 with 14 minutes left in the half.
Sophomore
Allie Vallen and Lasater added first half goals, as the Cavaliers took a commanding 10-3 lead into the halftime break.
Junior
Sarah Carzo recorded her 12th goal of the season with a woman-up tally five minutes into the second half. Following a Neumann tally, Thompson added a goal to her stat line at the 19:12 mark.
Three minutes later, Scanzano added an unassisted tally, her 19th of the campaign. The Cavaliers closed the scoring 31 seconds later, as Scanzano and Doubet connected for another goal.
Jordan Hopkins led Neumann (3-4, 2-1 CSAC) with three goals and five draw controls, while goaltender Gabby Curry posted eight saves.
The Blue and White will return to action on Friday, as it welcomes Rowan University (2-3) to Edith Robb Dixon Field. The nonconference action is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
