CLERMONT, Fla. - The Cabrini softball team closed its 2015 spring break trip last night with losses to No. 6 Trine and Ohio Northern, dropping its overall record to 2-4.
The Blue and White fell to Trine 14-0 in the day's first game. Senior

Taylor Gallagher tallied the Cavaliers' only three hits in the loss.Â

Kiley Sharp suffered her first loss of the season, after allowing four earned runs in four innings.
In the night cap, a 12-4 loss to Ohio Northern, the Cavaliers fell behind 10-0 before the Blue and White rallied for four runs in the fifth.

Emily Smull also picked up an RBI in the fifth inning, after a single to right field sent home Diegel.
The Polar Bears went on to score two more runs to take home the win.
Five Cavaliers recorded a base knock, including Diegel who tallied a pair of hits. Gallagher fell to 0-2 in the pitcher's circle after allowing five earned runs in three innings. Â
The Cavaliers will return to action on March 18th, when they host Penn State Brandywine at Cabrini Field. The opening game of the nonconference doubleheader is set to begin at 3 p.m. Â
