RADNOR, Pa. – Seniors
Lacie Doubet and
Sarah Means marked the Cabrini women's lacrosse record books today, as the Cavaliers stayed perfect in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with a 17-1 win over Centenary.
The club's fourth consecutive victory improved the Blue and White to 9-5 overall and 7-0 in the conference, with just three league games remaining in the regular season.
Twelve Cavaliers marked the scoring column in today's win, including six players with two goals. Doubet led the way, pairing two goals with two assists. The entered the record book late in the game, as she tallied her 200th career goal.
Means also posted a pair of goals in the win. The senior joined Cabrini's 100 career point club with her second goal, just under nine minutes into the game.

Jess Breuning added two goals and an assist each, while senior
Melissa Scanzano recorded a goal and two helpers.

Maddy Worley also found the back of the net, while junior
Dana Peterson recorded her first career goal.
Sophomore
Megan Barlow recorded six saves to earn the victory and came just 3:46 shy of posting her second career shutout.
The Cavaliers controlled the game from the opening whistle, as it out shot the Cyclones 34-8, including 28-1 in the first half. Cabrini also scooped 56 ground balls and forced 19 turnovers, while holding Centenary to 8-28 in clear attempts.
Twenty-two Cavaliers secured at least one ground ball on the day, including Worley and senior
Megan Decker who secured five ground balls each. Decker also caused three turnovers, one more that Means, Carzo, Peterson and sophomore
Jenn Robinson.
Scanzano also controlled a game high four draws, while freshman
Gabby Lee corralled a pair.
Junior Carlie Schmitt scored the lone goal for the Cyclones (1-7, 1-6 CSAC), while sophomore goaltender Hannah Fisher posted 10 saves.
The Cavaliers will return to action on Thursday, when they travel south to Baltimore to face Notre Dame of Maryland University (4-4, 3-3 CSAC). The opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m.
