HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. – The Cabrini golf team got a chance to compete on the course that will host the 2015 CSAC Championship today, as the Cavaliers placed third at today's CSAC Championship Preview Match at Philmont Country Club.
The Blue and White posted a team score of 331, 22 strokes behind team winner Marywood University. Keystone finished second with a score of 324, while Immaculata, Cairn and Rosemont completed their round sin fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.
Sophomore
Michael Rojas paced the Cavaliers on the 6,101 yard par 70 circuit with a round of 75 to finish second overall. The sophomore completed his round two strokes behind individual winner Jesse Bingman from Marywood.
Senior
Tommy Breslin narrowly missed another top 10 finish, as his round of 84 was good for an 11th place tie. Sophomore
Joe Myers shot an 85 to finish tied for 13th.
Fellow sophomore
Dan Gentilucci's round of 87 was good for a 17th place tie, while senior
Ted Nebiolo tied for 19th with a round of 90.
The Cavaliers will return to action on Monday, when they travel to Bent Creek Country Club in Lititz, Pa. for the F&M College Spring Invitational. Tee time is slated for 12:30 p.m.
