GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Cabrini women's soccer team suffered its fourth loss in five matches to open the season after tonight's 5-0 loss at Arcadia University. The loss dropped the Cavaliers to 0-4-1 on the season.
The Blue and White struggled to find its footing, as Arcadia built a 26-4 advantage in shots, including 14-1 in shots on goal.
The Knights opened the scoring in the 30th minute. A 43rd minute Arcadia tally sent Cabrini into the halftime break trailing 2-0 after attempting just three first half shots.
Arcadia doubled its lead in the early minutes of the second half, notching two goals in a 61 second span.
Sophomore
Alivia Dietsch recorded nine saves in the loss.
Lennon Kramer notched a hat trick for Arcadia (4-2).
The Cavaliers hope to reverse their fates on Saturday, when they open Colonial States Athletic Conference play with a trip to Centenary College (1-4). The rematch of the 2014 CSAC championship game is slated to kickoff at 1 p.m. in Hackettstown, N.J.
