LANGHORNE, PA – The Cabrini women's soccer team extended its current unbeaten streak to nine matches today, as it scored a 3-0 victory at Cairn University.
The Cavaliers improved to 8-5-1 overall and 7-0-1 in the Colonial Stats Athletic Conference with the win, while extending its overall conference unbeaten streak to 39 matches.
Despite outshooting the Highlanders 12-4 in the first half, the Blue and White did not find the back of the net until late in the period.
Freshman
Diana VanSickle put Cabrini on the board in the 41st minute after collecting a pass from classmate
Brenna Stocklin. VanSickle chipped a shot over the Cairn goaltender for her first career goal.

Junior
Taylor Tralie closed the scoring in the 56th minute. After collecting a pass from freshman
Alex Garces, the junior fired a shot the deflected off a defender into the goal for her team-leading seventh goal.
Despite its comfortable lead, the Blue and White did not show any let-up in its offensive pressure as it recorded 13 second half shots and six second half corner kicks.
VanSickle recorded a career best five shots, two more than Gilinger, while senior

Marisa Christensen and
Kelsee Tironi added two each.

Jess Breuning, the Cabrini defense never allowed Cairn to get on track. The Cavalliers surrendered just five shots, none on target, and one corner kick.
Goaltender Payton Emerick suffered the loss for the Highlanders (4-8-1, 1-6-1 CSAC) despite five saves.
Cabrini will return to Edith Robb Dixon Field on Saturday, as it hosts Centenary University (8-5, 7-2 CSAC). Kickoff is slated for 12 noon.
