RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini women's soccer extended its current unbeaten streak to 10 matches today, as it scored a 3-0 victory over Centenary University at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
The win extended the Cavaliers' Colonial States Athletic Conference unbeaten streak to 40th, while improving the club to 9-5-1 overall and 8-0-1 in conference action.
Both clubs battled back and forth over the opening 40 minutes of action, before the Cavaliers finally broke through the Cyclones' defense.
Freshman
Diana VanSickle won a ball deep in the right corner and served a cross, finding classmate
Payton Greene for a header and a 1-0 lead.
The Cavaliers carried its slim cushion into the second half before doubling it in the opening minutes of the frame. Freshman
Alex Garces sent a through ball across the field, finding junior
Brittany Runyen for her first goal of the campaign.
Cabrini sealed the win in the 56th minute on senior
Allie Vallen's third goal of the year. Garces fired shot that bounced off Centenary goaltender Kaitlin Marold right to Vallen's foot.
The Blue and White's defensive effort held the CSAC's second highest scoring offense to just six shots on the day.

Gabby LeGendre stopped all three shots on goal for her third consecutive shutout and fifth of the season.
Garces accounted for three of the Cavaliers' 11 shots in the win, one more than Greene and sophomore
Brittany Woodruff.
Cabrini will celebrate the careers of Vallen and fellow seniors
Jess Breuning and Marisa Jenkins at Tuesday's regular season home finale. The Blue and White will face Cedar Crest college at 6:30pm a Edith Robb Dixon Field.
