ALLENTOWN, PA – The Cabrini men's and women's swim teams hit the road for the first time this season. The Blue and White women topped Cedar Crest 174-81 and fell to King's 145-106, while the men suffered a 136-99 loss to King's.

Seniors Christina Melchiorre and Todd Walker led the Cavaliers on Saturday. Melchiorre scored a win in the 100 yard freestyle, reaching the wall in 56.72 before posting a winning time of 2:24.96 in the 200 yard individual medley.

Walker matched Melchiorre with a pair of victories.  The senior's time of 1.48.85 was good for a victory in the 200 yard freestyle. Walker also recorded a win in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 54.50.

Freshman Katherine Bruckman added a win for the Blue and White women, as the rookie posted a winning time of 2:40.88 in the 200 yard butterfly.

Senior Hassan Goines and sophomore Ryan Brong also appeared in the winner's circle. Goines captured victory in the 100 yard breast stroke with a time of 1:03.66, while Brong's time of 2:14.52 was good for a win in the 200 yard butterfly.

The Cavaliers will return to action on Friday as they visit Lebanon Valley College. The action gets underway at 6pm in Annville, PA.
