IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Cabrini women's lacrosse team extended its win streak to five games with today's 18-4 victory at Immaculata University.
With the win, the Cavaliers improved to 5-2 overall and pushed its Colonial States Athletic Conference win streak to 34 games, with three victories coming this season.
Seven Cavaliers accounted for the team's 18 goals, led by junior
Jess Breuning, who matched a career high with six goals. Sophomore
Sasha Wozniak netted five goals for the second consecutive game and third time in the team's last four outings.

Gabby Lee also marked the scoring column.
O'Connell added three caused turnovers and three ground balls, while freshman
Emma Rodner-Tims paired three ground balls and three draw controls, one less than Neary.

Devon Scharf saw 30 minutes each in the Blue and White cage, combining for four saves in the win.
The Cavaliers took control of the game from the opening whistle, as Breuning scored less than 30 seconds into the action. Wozniak added two of her goals to give Cabrini a 3-0 cushion after eight minutes.
The Mighty Macs opened their scoring 24 seconds before the Blue and White netted six unanswered, unassisted goals over the next eight minutes. Wozniak completed her scoring with three goals during the spurt, while Neary, Vallen and Breuning marked the scoring column as Cabrini extended its lead to 9-1 with 10:46 left in the first half.
Immaculata briefly stopped the run with its second goal, but the Blue and White posted the final four goals of the half. Breuning and Crouse tallied two consecutive goals each, with Crouse's second giving Cabrini a 13-2 lead at the half.
The Blue and White continued its scoring run in the second half with four straight goals. Lee and Breuning found the back of the net in a span of 61 seconds early in the stanza, before Breuning netted her sixth goal with 21:40 to play. Vallen's second goal pushed the lead to 17-2 midway through the second half. O'Connell closed the scoring with her second career tally in the game's final minutes.
Cabrini outshot the Mighty Macs 44-12 on the day, including 32-8 in shots on goal, and forced 29 Immaculata turnovers.
Hannah Verrecchia led Immaculata (3-4, 2-1 CSAC) with a goal and an assist, while Christine McIntyre posted 14 saves.
The Cavaliers will return to Edith Robb Dixon Field on March 29, as it steps out of conference play to face No. 4 The College of New Jersey (6-0). The opening draw is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
