RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini men's lacrosse team pushed its Colonial States Athletic Conference win streak to 96 games today, as it scored a 25-3 win over the visiting Keystone College Giants. With the win, the No. 12 Cavaliers improved to 7-3 overall.
The Blue and White has outscored its opponents 52-4 in moving to 2-0 in conference play.
The Cavaliers got an early energy boost as its No. 1 fan,
Jaxson Utain, made an appearance during the team's pregame warm-up. Jaxson also delivered today's game-ball to the officials prior to the action before cheering the Blue and White to victory.
Cabrini took control of today's action from the opening whistle, as junior
Evan Downey scored the first of his four goals on the day just 93 seconds into the action. Freshman
Nicholas Waligurski recorded two goals of his career high four goals in the opening 4:15 of the first quarter, as the Blue and White pushed its lead to 5-0.
Keystone got on the board late in the opening stanza, as the Cavaliers carried a 9-1 lead into the second period. Freshman
Matt LoParo paired a goal and two helpers to lead eight Blue and White second half goal scorers, as the lead swelled to 17-2 at the half.
Seven different Cavaliers added goals in the third quarter, as Cabrini held Keystone without a shot in the frame. The Blue and White outshot the Giants 16-0 in the third quarter and extended its lead to 24-2.
In total, 19 Cavaliers recorded at least one point in the win, with 15 notching at least one goal. Downey and Waligurski led the way with four goals each, while LoParo paired two goals and five assists for his third seven point outing of the season.

Jordan Krug posted five points on two goals and three helpers. Junior
Patrick Regan and sophomore
Ethan Trusty added two goals each, marking the first multigoal games for both. Senior
Kyle Bush and freshman
Timmy Brooks paired a goal and an assist each, while freshman
Sean Wagner notched two assists.
Sophomore
Paul Hunsberger joined freshmen

TJ Reiley in notching their first career goals this afternoon.
The Cavaliers recorded 62 shots in the win, the most it has attempted this season. Brooks and fellow freshman
Billy Morgan attempted seven each, one more than Downey and two more than Regan.
Cabrini's offensive execution began at the faceoff spot, where it won 26 of the game's 31 opportunities. Senior
Chris Schneekloth matched a career high 14 wins with a new career best 10 ground balls. Sophomore
Joe Simpson went 7-8 with seven ground balls, while classmate
Riley Michaels won three of his five chances and notched an assist. Freshman
Trey Critides added a pair of wins.
The Blue and White was just as stingy on defense, allowing just 16 Keystone shots, only five on goal. Senior
Austin Edelman and sophomore
Jimmy Hennessey caused two turnovers each.
Freshman
Riley White improved to 3-1 in the Blue and White cage and combined with sophomore
Justin Bullivant to record two saves in the victory.
Seniors Pat Hash and Killian Nau and freshman Dakota Johnson scored for Keystone (0-6, 0-2 CSAC). Sophomore goaltender Matthew Grobelny recorded 11 saves and a team high six ground balls.
The Cavaliers will return to action on Wednesday, as it begins a string of four consecutive road games with a trip to Gwynedd Valley, Pa. to face Gwynedd Mercy University (5-3, 2-0 CSAC). Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
