The Blue and White took all of the game's momentum late in the stanza.  Offsetting penalties left both teams playing with 9 men, and the Cavaliers took full advantage.  During the one minute span, Cabrini netted four goals, including two by Krug to build a10-1 lead after 15 minutes.

The lead swelled to 15-3 at the half, as Heisman netted a pair of second half goals.  The Cavaliers tallied the only three goals of the third quarter, before outscoring the Cyclones 7-2 over the final 15 minutes of play, during which Luma recorded all four of his points.
