COLLEGEVILLE, PA – The Cabrini men's soccer team got off to a slow start tonight at Ursinus College and the Bears took full advantage, downing the Cavaliers 4-2.
The loss dropped the Blue and White to 2-2 on the year, while Ursinus improved to 2-1.
Ursinus took advantage of a Cabrini defensive miscue in the game's opening seconds to take a lead just 19 seconds after the opening whistle. Another Bears' goal at the eight minute mark send Cabrini down two goals.
The Cavaliers finally got on the board in the 10th minute, as senior

Ursinus regained its two goal cushion less than two minutes later, before extending its lead to 4-1 in the 31st minute.
The score remained 4-1 until the game's 53rd minute, when junior

A.J. Bishop's forehead for the senior's third goal of the campaign.

Jared Irwin recorded four shots each, accounting for half of Cabrini's 15 shots on the day, while freshman
Andre Justin added three. Senior goaltender
C.J. Serratore posted four second half saves in the loss.
Noah Kimelheim scored twice for Ursinus, while Ben Amaral paired a goal and an assist.
The Cavaliers will make their home debut on Wednesday, as they welcome Rutgers-Camden (2-0-1) to Edith Robb Dixon Field. Game time is slated for 7pm.
