SCRANTON, PA – The Cavaliers could not carry the momentum from yesterday's thrilling overtime win from King's to Scranton, as the Cabrini men's soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss to the University of Scranton Royals.
The loss evened the Blue and White's record at 1-1, while the Royals improved to 2-0 on the young season.
Scranton controlled the opening 45 minutes, as it outshot the Cavaliers 11-1 en route to establishing a 3-0 halftime lead.
Cabrini regrouped during the break, as it mustered four second half shots while earning four corner kicks in the second stanza.
The Blue and White will return to the pitch on Wednesday, as it visits DeSales University. Kickoff is slated for 4pm in Center Valley, PA.
