RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini women's soccer team fell to 0-2 on the young season, as the Cavaliers suffered a 3-0 loss to the visiting Eastern University Eagles tonight at Edith Robb Dixon Field.

The Blue and White fell behind in the 11th minute, as Eastern senior Emily Cole scored the first of her three goals on the night.  Despite recording only four first half shots to 10 for the Eagles, the Cavaliers kept the game close, trailing 1-0 at the half.

Eastern doubled its lead in the opening minutes of the second half, before sealing the outcome in the 81st minute.

The Blue and White recorded just seven shots on the night, with four finding the target and failed to force a corner kick.  Conversely, Eastern posted 18 shots and three corner kicks.

Junior goaltender Gabby LeGendre was solid in net for the Cavaliers, recording seven saves in the loss.  Classmate Taylor Tralie accounted for four of Cabrini's seven shots, including three of its four on net.

The Cavaliers will face another tough test on Saturday, as they head to Washington to face Catholic University (2-0). Game time is slated for 1pm.
