LITITZ, PA – Three consecutive days of golf proved to be too much for the Cavaliers, as the Cabrini men's golf team placed 14th out of 15 teams at Monday's Franklin & Marshall College Fall Invitational.
The Blue and White posted a team score of 355 on the par 71 Bent Creek Country Club course.
Junior
David Gall tied for 29th place after shooting a round of 81. Senior
Nick Straub's round of 85 was good for a 49th place tie.
Fellow senior
David Anders finished 67th with a round of 94, one stroke better than junior
Nick Alizzi, who shot a 95.
Franklin & Marshall and Rutgers-Camden posted matching 301 team scores to tie atop the leader board. Rutgers-Camden ultimately claimed the team title after a comparison of score cards.
Lebanon Valley (307), Penn State Berks (312) and Muhlenberg (314) rounded out the top five teams.
Rutgers-Camden's Cory Stolz posted the day's low score with a one under par, 70, besting Penn State Berks' Andrew Comish by one stroke.
The Cavaliers will close their fall schedule on October 30, as they compete in the Arcadia University Fall Invitational. Tee time is scheduled for 11am at Cedarbrook Country Club in Blue Bell, PA.
