Rosemont, PA - The Cabrini women's soccer team ended their regular season with a bang this evening as they picked up a thrilling 1-0 victory over the host Rosemont Ravens. 

The Cavs game winning goal came with just five minutes left in regulation and was all the Blue and White would need to secure their 10th win of the season and eighth win in the CSAC. 

As evidenced by the final score, both teams played played an even game statistically speaking, with the Cavs holding a slight 16-11 advatage in shots, as well as a 6-3 advantage in corners. 

Katelyn Gilinger paced Cabrini offensively as the sophomore recorded a game high four shots with two coming on goal. Seniors Taylor Tralie and Kelsee Tironi each tallied three shots, with Tralie picking up the game winner. 

The Blue and White were aggressive out of the gates as they recorded five shots in the first nine minutes of play, but failed to put any in the back of the net. The Ravens' defense stiffened as the half wore on, however as they allowed just three shots in the remaining 36 minutes of the half. 

The second half feature much of the same for both teams as each had few opportunities, until Tralie put the visitors up in the 85th minute with an unassisted goal. Tralie's goal was her team leading eighth of the season and second goal in as many games. 

Senior Gabby LeGendre turned in another outstanding performance for the Blue and White with five saves and her seventh shutout of the season. 

More importantly, the Cavs secured the No. 3 seed in the upcoming CSAC tournament and will host No. 6 seeded Immaculata Mighty Macs on Monday, Oct. 30th in the quarterfinal round. Game time has been slated for 7pm.
