SCRANTON, PA – The Cabrini swim teams competed in their second dual meet in as many days, as the Cavaliers paid a visit to Marywood University. The Blue and White men scored a thrilling 103-96 win, while the women fell 140-55.
Freshman
Cameron Mousley continued his impressive rookie campaign, as the freshman scored a pair of wins today. Mousley posted a winning time of 10:41.21 to capture the 1,000-yard freestyle. Later in the meet, the freshman added a victory in the 500-yard freestyle, reaching wall in 4:58.99.
Fellow freshman
Nick Conroy added a win in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:55.75.
Sophomore
Matt Schaeffer posted a time of 2:09.91 to win the 200-yard individual medley.
The men's results were not decided until the day's final event, the 200-yard freestyle relay. The quartet of freshman
Luke McDevitt, Conroy, Mousley and Schaeffer came up big with a victorious time of 1:35.55.
Senior
Brooke Hagan scored the lone event win for the Blue and White women, as the senior reached the wall first in the 200-yard individual medley, posting a time of 2:38.62.
The Cavaliers will return to action on Saturday, as they head to Wilkes-Barre, PA for the two day Diamond City Classic. The meet will get underway on Saturday at 9am.
