RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini swim teams continued the impressive start to their 2017-18 season today, as the Blue and White welcomed Lebanon Valley College to the Dixon Center Pool.
The Cabrini men won six events to defeat the Dutchmen 97-57, while the women suffered a 114-91 setback.
Freshman
Cameron Mousley posted his seventh individual event win with a record-breaking performance in the 1,000-yard freestyle. The rookie's time of 10:25.51 sliced 10 seconds from
Todd Walker's previous mark set during the 2014-15 season.
Sophomore
Matt Schaeffer also had a record breaking, as his 2:01.81 was two seconds better than his previous mark for the 200-yard individual medley.
Freshman
Nick Conroy scored two wins, reaching the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.35) and 100-yard freestyle (53.86). Classmate
Kurt Schuehler's time of 1:02.24 was good for a victory in the 100-yard backstroke.
Freshman
Luke McDevitt added a pair of second place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke.

Ryan Hagan to open the meet with a win in the 200-yard medley relay, reaching the wall in 1:47.27.
Sophomores
Lauren Finnegan and
Katherine Buckman paced the Blue and White women, scoring a pair of wins each.
Buckman earned victories in the 200-yard individual medley (2:29.75) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:07.37), while Finnegan's times of 2:03.51 and 5:35.04 were good for wins in the 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle, respectively.
Senior
Candace Brown also posted a winning time of 1:03.57 in the 100-yard butterfly.
The Cavaliers will return to action next Saturday, as they welcome Albright College to the Dixon Center Pool. The action will get underway at 1pm.
