The Cavaliers built a 45-28 advantage in shots, as they cruised to a 19-8 victory in last year's meeting. Senior
Allie Vallen scored just 31 seconds after the opening whistle, as Cabrini built a 4-1 lead less than six minutes in the action. After leading 9-5 at the half, the Cavaliers scored the game's final seven goals, holding the Pride scoreless for the final 16:30.
Junior
Sasha Wozniak led the Blue and White with five goals and an assist, while seniors
Jen Robinson and
Jess Breuning tallied four points each. Breuning completed her monster day with three goals, nine ground balls, eight draw controls and three caused turnovers.
Senior
Megan Barlow earned the victory with eight saves in the Cabrini cage.
Sophomore Kristi Rohrer marked the scoring column for the Pride, while senior Angie Baricko caused three turnovers and scooped a pair of ground balls.
Senior netminder Grace Morales suffered the loss despite pairing 10 saves and six ground balls.

TCNJ scored the game's first six goals and never looked back, as the Blue and White fell to 1-2 overall. The Cavaliers forced 10 of the Lions' 17 turnovers and secured 13 draw controls to 12 for the perennial NCAA powerhouse.

Widener Last Time Out: Topped Neumann 15-5 (3/11/17, Chester, PA)
The Pride evened its record at 2-2 with a dominant 15-5 victory over Neumann. Trailing 1-0, Widener took control of the game with four unanswered goals in a span of 4:30 midway through the first half and built an 8-2 lead at the half.
Rohrer led the Pride with four goals, one more than senior Jamie Parent. Four players scored two goals each for Widener, including sophomore Kelly Lynch, who also posted two assists, seven ground balls, and two caused turnovers.
Widener's defensive effort was a major key for the Pride, as they scooped 28 ground balls, caused 21 turnovers and won 12 of the game's 21 draw controls. Parent stuffed the stat sheet with six ground balls, six draw controls and five caused turnovers.
Morales earned the victory for the Pride without being called on to make a save.
