IMMACULATA, PA – The Cabrini men's lacrosse team recovered from last night's tough win over Stevenson to score a 26-8 victory at Immaculata University this afternoon.
The No. 11 Cavaliers' seventh consecutive win improved the club to 12-3 overall and 6-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
Fifteen Cavaliers found the back of the net today, with sophomore 
Jordan Krug leading the way with four goals.  Junior 
Ethan Trusty and freshman 
Thomas Bryant recorded their first career hat tricks, while freshman 
Tyler Kostack posted five points to lead a quartet of Cavaliers with two goal each.
Sophomore 
Trey Critides saw significant action at the faceoff spot, where he went 20-22, scooped 11 ground balls and recorded his first career goal. Junior 
Riley Michaels also claimed victory in 11 of his 13 chances at the X, scooping five ground balls.  
Freshman goaltender 
Matt Nestler recorded three first half saves to earn the victory, while sophomore 
Riley White recorded one save in 30 minute of relief action.
Junior 
Zack Gregory scored the first of his two goals in the game's opening minute to send the Cavaliers off and running. The Blue and White extended its lead to 5-0 less than six minutes into the game, as five different players marked the scoring column.
The Mighty Macs briefly interrupted the Cabrini scoring run before the Cavaliers closed the period with four unanswered goals for a 9-1 lead after 15 minutes.
Immaculata scored early in the second quarter before the scoreboard went silent for 10 minutes. The Cavaliers closed the half with a flurry, scoring five goals in the final four minutes of the frame, including goals by senior 
Ryan Hannan and Krug in the final 12 seconds to take a 14-3 lead into the break.
The Blue and White continued to light the scoreboard after the break, outscoring the Mighty Macs 12-5, including nine unassisted tallies.
Doug Hughes paired two goals and two assists for Immaculata (3-10, 2-4 CSAC), while Mike Reardon and Tyler Black also scored twice. Goaltender Denton States suffered the loss despite recording 17 saves.
The Cavaliers will close their regular season on Wednesday, as they welcome Gwynedd Mercy (6-5, 4-1 CSAC) to Edith Robb Dixon Field.  Faceoff is slated for 7pm.
