Scranton scored five of the game's first six goals to build a cushion the Cavaliers could not overcome. Cabrini pulled within two goals twice, but never really mounted serious challenge to its deficit.
Junior
Jackie Neary paired four goals, four ground balls and four caused turnovers. Breuning added three goals and six draw controls. Barlow paired a career high 16 saves and nine ground balls.
Senior Meghan Kerr led the Lady Royals with seven points on five goals and two assists, while sophomore Christine Olert paired two goals and two assists. Junior Kailyn Angelo won 15 of the game's 30 draw controls, while senior Marne Rossetti paired 11 saves and eight ground balls.

Lauren Hughes scored twice in the game's first minute and the Cavaliers were off and running. The Blue and White opened a 13-0 lead less than 14 minutes after the opening whistle.

Scranton recorded 10 unanswered goals to turn a 2-2 game into a 12-2 halftime advantage. Susquehanna tried to erase its deficit after the half, but Scranton's Rosetti and sophomore Amanda Trumpore combined for eight second half saves.
Olert and Kerr led Scranton with four goals each, while Kerr added three assists. Sophomore Katie Rodgers posted five of the club's nine assists on the day. Freshman Becca Russo paired four draw controls and three ground balls, while Olert and classmate Kaitlyn Murphy added three ground balls each.
Freshman Erin Putnam saves seven of the nine shots she faced in the first half to earn the victory. Olert, Russo and sophomore Claire Eberle helped the defensive effort with two caused turnovers each.
