Today's action marks the final regular season appearance for Cabrini's six seniors Megan Barlow, Jess Breuning, Shannon Fichter, Jen Robinson, Maureen Sullivan, Lisa Saraceni, Allie Vallen and Sasha Wozniak, a group that has gone 32-8 at Edith Robb Dixon Field.

Last Meeting: Scranton rides early lead to 17-11 win (4/26/16, Scranton, PA)
Scranton scored five of the game's first six goals to build a cushion the Cavaliers could not overcome. Cabrini pulled within two goals twice, but never really mounted serious challenge to its deficit.

Junior Jackie Neary paired four goals, four ground balls and four caused turnovers.  Breuning added three goals and six draw controls. Barlow paired a career high 16 saves and nine ground balls.

Senior Meghan Kerr led the Lady Royals with seven points on five goals and two assists, while sophomore Christine Olert paired two goals and two assists. Junior Kailyn Angelo won 15 of the game's 30 draw controls, while senior Marne Rossetti paired 11 saves and eight ground balls.

Freshman Lauren Hughes scored twice in the game's first minute and the Cavaliers were off and running. The Blue and White opened a 13-0 lead less than 14 minutes after the opening whistle.

Five Cavaliers joined Hughes with two goals on the day. Among the group was sophomore Avery Murphy, who also tallied two assists.  Breuning, junior Sasha Wozniak and sophomore Liz Hoeffner add solo assists to their two goals.   

Murphy paired three ground balls and three draw controls, while freshman Mattie Porter added three ground balls and pair of draw controls. Neary earned game high honors with four draw controls.  Sophomores Emma Rodner-Tims, Kerri Anderson and MaryKate Keenan caused two turnovers each in the win.

Scranton Last Time Out: Lady Royals closed Landmark Conference play with 17-8 win over Susquehanna (4/22/17, Scranton, PA)
Scranton recorded 10 unanswered goals to turn a 2-2 game into a 12-2 halftime advantage.  Susquehanna tried to erase its deficit after the half, but Scranton's Rosetti and sophomore Amanda Trumpore combined for eight second half saves.

Olert and Kerr led Scranton with four goals each, while Kerr added three assists. Sophomore Katie Rodgers posted five of the club's nine assists on the day.  Freshman Becca Russo paired four draw controls and three ground balls, while Olert and classmate Kaitlyn Murphy added three ground balls each.

Freshman Erin Putnam saves seven of the nine shots she faced in the first half to earn the victory. Olert, Russo and sophomore Claire Eberle helped the defensive effort with two caused turnovers each.

• Murphy ranks among the nation's best scorers, as her 72 points rank 29th in Division III and her 55 goals 30th.
• The Cavaliers caused 13.69 turnovers per contest, eighth in the country.

• Sophomore Liz Hoeffner has scored at least two goals in 15 of 16 games and tallied at least three points 14 times.
