Mack finished the opener 4-4 with three runs scored, while Alpaugh went 3-4 with four RBI and two runs scored.
The Cavaliers jumped ahead early in the nightcap as well. Cabrini strung together four singles, including RBI base knocks by Savar and sophomore
Darian Caputo before junior

The Cavaliers pushed their lead to 8-0 in the second, as Alpaugh's double to left center scored Mack. One batter later, the sophomore scored on a Notre Dame error.
Cabrini put the game away in the fourth, as it opened the inning with three consecutive hits, including an RBI single from sophomore

Savar and Franchville closed the nightcap with 3-3 efforts and combined for three runs scored and two RBI, while Ferraro added two hits.
The Cavaliers have little time to enjoy today's wins, as they will return to action tomorrow at 3pm, as Centenary University (13-19, 11-7 CSAC) visits Cabrini Field. The team will hold its annual Senior Day ceremony between games of the 3pm doubleheader.
