RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini volleyball team pushed its current win streak to seven matches with tonight's 3-0 victory over Immaculata University.
The Cavaliers made the most of their 2017 home debut with tonight's 25-16, 25-17, 25-17 victory. The win improved the Blue and White to 10-3 overall and 3-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
The Mighty Macs scored three of the match's first four points, but Cabrini rallied for eight consecutive points and never looked back. The Cavaliers pushed their lead as high as 22-12 on a kill by junior

Kaylee Plisinski brought the first set to a close.
The Blue and White built a slim early lead in the second frame, but could not pull away. Immaculata remained in striking distance, evening the score at 8-8. The Cavaliers slowly pulled away, scoring 2-3 points at a time, while not allowing the Mighty Macs to record consecutive points until late in the set.
The final set played out much like the second, with both teams exchanging points. Holding a slim 12-11 lead, a kill by senior
Anne-Marie Jones sparked a 3-0 run for the Cavaliers. The Blue and White expanded its lead with runs of 3-0 and 4-0, securing a comfortable 23-14 lead on a
Chelsea Jones service ace.
Shannon led a balanced Cabrini attack with 12 kills, while Judkins and
Anne-Marie Jones added nine each. Freshman
Olivia Blankenbiller directed the attack with 40 assists to go with seven digs and two block assists.
Junior
Ashley Shannon scored a team-high 15 digs, while freshman
Lauren Coscia totaled three blocks. Judkins added eight digs, one more than fellow rookie
Morgan Collito.
Senior Arden Vizzard led Immaculata (2-6, 0-1 CSAC) with eight kills, while freshman Sara Desmond earned match-high honors with 20 digs. Sophomore Olivia Zdradzinski paired 21 assists and nine digs.
The Blue and White will put its 51 match CSAC win streak on the line on Saturday, as they welcome Cairn University (2-8, 1-0 CSAC) to Nerney Field House. First serve is scheduled for 11am.
