FARMINGDALE, NY – Junior
David Gall shot a round of even par, 70, at today's opening round of the Farmingdale State College Invitational to take the top spot on the leaderboard.
Gall will enter Sunday's second round with a three stroke lead over Rosemont's Michael Lange on the 6,900 yard Bethpage State Park Red Course.
The Cavaliers closed today's action tied for fifth place with Johnson & Wales after posting a team score of 309.

David Anders and freshman
John Mallozzi shot matching rounds of 79 to close the day in an eight way tie for 23rd. Senior
Nick Straub sits in 35th place after today's 81, while junior
Nick Alizzi's 86 was god for 43rd.
Rosemont will enter tomorrow's second round with the team lead after posting a team score of 302, three strokes better than Farmingdale State and Husson.
Sunday's final round will tee off at 8am.
