RADNOR, PA – The Cavaliers clinched the 10th 20-win season in program history, as the Cabrini volleyball teams scored wins over Marymount University and Keystone College today at Nerney Field House.
With the wins, the Blue and White improved to 20-8 on the season. The victory over Marymount moved the team to 6-0 in the Atlantic East Conference and earned the club the top seed and home court advantage in the upcoming conference tournament.
In what was selected as the Atlantic East Conference Match of the Week, Cabrini scored a 3-1 (25-23, 16-25, 25-21, 25-22) thrilling win over the visiting Saints.
Three of the four sets came down to the final points, as the first, third and fourth frames were tied at 20, 21 and 21, respectively.
Senior
Emily Shannon led the Cavaliers with 13 kills, 16 assists, 11 digs and three total blocks. The senior became one of just 46 Division III players across the country to record a triple-double in 2018.
Sophomore
Steph Judkins earned match-high honors with 17 kills to go with 10 digs. Senior
Ashley Shannon 17 digs led the club, while freshman added 16 digs. Freshman
Amelia Ballard directed the offensive attack with 19 assists.
Senior Caroline Hanson led the Saints (22-4, 3-1 Atlantic East) with 15 kills and 13 digs, while sophomores Mykael Johnson and Myah Cordrey combined for 25 kills.
The Cavaliers stayed hot, as they cruised to a 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-18) win over former Colonial States Athletic Conference foe Keystone College.
Judkins led the way with 15 kills, while freshman
Hannah Dalton paired eight kills, two service ace, two blocks and four digs.
Ballard notched her sixth double-double of the season with 16 assists and 10 digs, while Custer chipped in with 14 digs.

Emily Shannon matched Dalton with two aces each, while freshman
Marie Hamilton matched a career best four total blocks, one more than senior
Kassie Ockford.
Senior Victoria Homfield paired eight kills and seven digs for the Giants (9-125), while junior Amanda Hardy posted 19 assists.
The day's middle match saw Marymount cruise to a 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-16) win over the Giants. Eleven Saints recorded at least one kill in the win, with sophomore Ayanna Moore's eight kills leading the way, while freshman Caylee Shelton added seven kills.
Senior Kristen Larkin notched five kills for Keystone.
The Cavaliers will return to action on Wednesday, when they host Franklin & Marshall College (21-6, 9-0 Centennial) in nonconference action. First serve is scheduled for 7pm in Nerney Field House.
